Low stock
Set a reorder point for each part and let WRMS Pro tell you, once, when stock drops to it.
A part is low when its quantity drops to or below its reorder point. WRMS Pro can alert you in the app, by email, or both.
Set reorder points
- For one part: set Min Qty on the part. See Parts.
- For everything else: set Default reorder point in Settings → Alerts → Low stock alerts. It applies only to parts with no reorder point of their own.
The dashboard's Low stock figure and the Inventory report show what is low right now, whether or not alerts are turned on.
Turn on alerts
Alerts are off by default.
WRMS Pro checks stock regularly. Select Check now to run a check straight away.
How often you are told
Each part alerts once each time it drops to its reorder point. It will not alert again while it stays low, and it resets once stock climbs back above the reorder point. A part sitting at zero for a month produces one alert, not thirty.
Email digests go to the workshop's Owners and Admins, sent with your email settings.
Permissions
Changing alert settings needs Settings → Edit.
