Price lists
Give fleet, trade and account customers their agreed pricing — a parts discount, a different labour rate, or fixed prices for particular parts.
A price list is a set of pricing terms you have agreed with a customer. Assign it once, and every job and quote for that customer is priced on those terms.
When to use it
- A fleet customer gets 10% off parts.
- A trade customer pays a lower hourly rate.
- A contract names a fixed price for a particular part, whatever it costs you.
One price list can be shared by many customers — for example twenty drivers from the same company — so changing the terms is one edit.
What a price list can hold
| Term | Effect |
|---|---|
| Parts discount % | Taken off the price you would normally charge for parts, after your usual cost-plus-markup or sell price. |
| Labour rate | Replaces your normal hourly labour rate. Leave empty to keep the normal rate. |
| Fixed part prices | An agreed price for a specific inventory part. It overrides everything else, and the parts discount is not applied on top. |
Create a price list
Assign it to a customer
Edit the customer and choose the Price list. Customers with no price list pay your normal prices.
Changes to a customer's price list are recorded in the audit log.
