Improvements to WRMS Pro, described in terms of what changes for you.
Dates are when the change was completed. WRMS Pro updates itself; there is nothing to install.
Late September 2026
New
- Customer portal. Customers sign in with an emailed link to see their vehicles, invoices, quotes and inspections, and to send you service requests. See Customer portal.
- Online booking. A public booking page for your website, and booking links in reminder emails that put the job straight on the Work Board. See Online booking.
- Timesheets. A job clock for technicians, and a Timesheets page to review, correct and export the hours. See Timesheets.
- Job activity alerts when a job changes technician, is completed, is parked waiting for parts or resumes. See Notifications.
- Email templates. Change the wording of the emails WRMS Pro sends. See Email templates.
- Apps & API. One page for every connected service, with logos, search and categories. See Apps & API.
- Tax breakdown. Name your tax and print your ABN beside it on quotes and invoices. See GST and tax.
- Technician efficiency in Reports, comparing billed labour with clocked time.
- Annual billing for your WRMS Pro subscription, saving 20%.
Improved
- New workshops start with Australian settings: AUD, kilometres and Sydney time.
- Every team Member now needs a role, so nobody gets full access by accident. See Roles and permissions.
- Subscribing during the free trial keeps the trial days you have left.
Earlier in September 2026
Signing in and your account
- Joining a workshop by invitation now works smoothly end to end. New staff invited by email can sign up, confirm their address and land straight in the workshop they were invited to.
- Email verification is clearer. The verification page shows which address the link went to, lets you resend it, and signing in with an unverified address now tells you so and offers a new link instead of looking like a wrong password.
- Two-factor authentication can now be turned on reliably, with backup codes for when your phone is not to hand.
- Changing your email address is safer. You confirm with your password, the change only happens when you open the link sent to the new address, your old address is told, and you are signed out on your other devices.
- Resetting a forgotten password now signs you out everywhere else, so an old session on a shared computer cannot be used.
- Password rules are now checked the same way everywhere, and the sign-up screen explains them properly.
Money
- Outstanding amounts are now calculated invoice by invoice. An overpayment on one job no longer hides money owed on another, and $0 jobs no longer appear as unpaid.
- Billing filters now leave out voided invoices, so Unpaid and Partial match the totals at the top of the page.
Stock
- Parts can now be linked to a supplier, and suppliers have an Add part from this supplier shortcut.
Workshop
- The Work Board makes editing a job easier: selecting a job now offers Edit job first, and Remove from board is clearly separate from deleting.
- Starting an inspection explains what is wrong if there are no templates yet or the vehicle list could not load, instead of silently doing nothing.
- Videos that could not be converted now still play, keeping their original format.
- Website addresses can be typed as
www.example.com; WRMS Pro adds the rest. - Vehicle pages open faster, and the customer list only loads when you open the dialog that needs it.
Speed and accessibility
- Moving between pages is noticeably faster, particularly in Settings and admin screens.
- Screens work better with screen readers and keyboards: every drop-down and picker now has a name, tables have proper headers, and animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Privacy
- Analytics no longer receive links to customer documents or pages inside the app.
